Karma the Chameleon
Karma the Chameleon is an endless runner that was created for UCSC’s 120 course. Developed by a team of three, the game was made over the course of three weeks using the Phaser engine. I worked on the game’s art assets as well as programming core systems and UI.
This game marked my second project in Phaser after a brief introduction project in the 120 course. Despite the short development cycle, the game went through several design overhauls as we learned our way around Phaser and experimented with third-party physics libraries and various implementations and refinements of desired game mechanics. Overall, I’m quite proud of the end result- the game is quite fun in its simplicity and has a charming presentation. Why not give it a try in your browser?
